The family-owned company from Tuttlingen has been inspiring customers with outstanding medical technology since 1959. The story began in the kitchen of Hans-Thomas Volzer's great-grandmother, who has been running the company since 1997. It was there that his father Rudi Volzer started his own business in 1959 with his first commissioned work. The product range was continuously expanded and VOMED grew into a system partner that offers everything from a single source: Planning, development, production and assembly.
Word of the quality of Volzer's work spread internationally, and today VOMED exports around a quarter of its products to the USA, Latin America, Australia and Europe.
VOMED's range of manufacturing services includes turning, milling, drilling, bending, hard and soft soldering, grinding, laser cutting, laser welding, bonding, assembly, eroding, electropolishing, anodizing, sandblasting, nickel plating, chrome plating, gold plating, laser marking, etching and engraving.
As a forward-looking company, we are continuously modernizing our production facilities. The latest investments include a lathe with an integrated robot for fully automatic parts assembly and a laser marking system with a rotary axis for the computer-controlled marking of products.
Our materials are brass, stainless steel, aluminum and plastic.
